What is the difference between thread and hyaluronic acid?

Nose thread correction involves the introduction of thin threads with the aim of lifting the nose, while nose correction with hyaluronic acid is intended to fill in depressions and address any asymmetry.

Will the nostrils be more pronounced after the thread nose correction?

No, the nostrils should not become more pronounced after the procedure. The aim of the procedure is to restore proportions and lift the nose, not to alter its anatomical elements.

Will the nose be very swollen after the procedure?

Yes, after a nose correction procedure, there may be some degree of swelling. Swelling is a natural consequence of the procedure, but it will gradually subside over the course of several days.

How long does the effect last?

The effect typically lasts from 8 to 12 months after the initial procedure, depending on individual predispositions.

What type of threads are used for the procedure?

The non-surgical nose correction is performed using lifting threads with hooks.

Is it necessary to use a dressing after the procedure?

After a nose correction procedure, it is advisable to use a gentle dressing in the nose area for about 5 days. The dressing is recommended to protect the nose from accidental injuries and to minimize the risk of bruising and swelling.

Will the nose change from the front?

Absolutely, after the procedure, the appearance of the nose from the front can change. The goal of this procedure is to improve the proportions and shape of the nose, which can affect its visibility from the front.

A non-surgical nose correction, or non-surgical rhinoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure aimed at improving the appearance of the nose without the need for surgical intervention. Most commonly, individuals seek non-surgical nose corrections to address issues such as a dorsal hump, asymmetry, or proportions they are unhappy with. The shape of the nose is a common source of self-esteem concerns for both women and men. In many cases, reshaping the nose doesn't require surgery or irreversible changes. For those who wish to alter the shape of their nose, non-invasive cosmetic procedures offer the best alternative.

At our clinic, we offer two main options:

  • Non-surgical nose correction using dermal fillers: Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies responsible for retaining water and maintaining skin hydration. As we age, the amount of HA in our skin decreases. Medical aesthetics allows for the supplementation of HA, including in the non-surgical correction of the nose. This procedure involves injecting a hyaluronic acid-based filler into specific areas of the nose, resulting in the desired changes. The more cross-linked the HA, the longer it remains in the skin tissue. This procedure can fill areas that have lost volume or elasticity, rectifying deficiencies. It enhances the water-binding process in cells, improving volume in the areas where non-surgical nose correction is needed.

  • Non-surgical nose correction using threads: PDO (polydioxanone) threads are well-established products in the global medical aesthetics market. These threads are made of caprolactone and poly-L-lactic acid fibers and are completely absorbed by the body. They dissolve within a year and are entirely biodegradable. The presence of these threads in the tissues stimulates the regeneration of collagen and elastin fibers, improving skin density. Non-surgical nose correction with threads involves inserting a needle through the tip of the nose and threading the thread in the tissues to achieve a slightly lifted nose tip. Thread correction allows for the lifting of the nose tip, optical narrowing of the nose, and improved skin tension.
